Getting This Public

My main goal with this blog is to get people to follow the experience and the events that will be taken place over the course of this trip. There are thousands of Canadians going and I believe that all Canadians should have some kind connection to the celebrations.

I never knew about the celebrations before this trip so I think this could be another way of getting the word out to people and not letting our past die for all of us younger people.

This is the last time it will happen which is a sad fact, but in knowing this we need to make it the best and the most memorable. For me, and possibly all of my generation, we will never forget about the sacrifice that the people, world wide, have made for a safe and humane society. I fear that these facts and events will be slowly forgotten and put to the side. I will hope that for the rest of humanity that this will never go unspoken of and I will be sure to make my kids kids aware of the great sacrifice people have made and that they must never forget.
