The last sleep

OMG

Its 9:12 on Wednesday night and I'm in bed about to TRY and sleep. I feel very tired but at the same time my mind doesn't seem to want to stop racing!

I am so excited for tomorrow.. I've been waiting for this night for so long. From the beginning I wished it was sooner but now that its time I realize all the time waiting and getting excited has just made it that much better.

One of the huge things that I have been excited for would have to be Vimy. Vimy is where Canada made history. We did what no one else could do. Visiting the memorial site will be, truly, an honor, and it will be a moment of remembrance. Remembrance to think back on seeing pictures, video and reading text on/from the war, seeing the young Canadians in battle and fighting for their country, for a humane world.

That is just one thing, and the night of that day I am sure I will be writing a full on report on the days details including pictures.


I think I should sleep, getting up at three... :)

    Joey! I know you're probably going to roll your eyes at this but you have grown up sooo much! It's awesome to see that you're soo sincerely excited for this experience. I find it very refreshing to see people your age that are actually interested in the meaning behind a trip like this. Good for you! I'm going to keep watching your blog for updates on your experiences! (I'm so jealous... I'm almost 24 and have never even been on a plane :S)

    Hey dad and paula and such, were in the washington airport waiting for our next flight, about five more hours to go :P

    Had to pay 7.99 for 24 hours of internet, thought it was completely worth it!

    I'm gonna put up two or three more posts, one from this morning and then one now :D
